I’ve had bad dental experiences in the past and did not want to go to the dentist. I broke a tooth so had no choice. My daughter in law and grandson had been to the Smile Spa and had a great experience so I called them for an appointment. I decided to do full mouth restoration to address all at one time. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. Extracted 3 teeth, 6 implants, sinus lift and bone graft. Got my stitches out today. A couple of days of discomfort was all!! Dr. Nguyen is amazing! Luz, his assistant made me feel comfortable. Looking forward to next steps with Dr.Joelle Elahad! All staff is wonderful! Highly recommend!!

For years, I’ve been afraid of going to the dentist as anything beyond a cleaning has always been an issue for years. .Many times I couldn’t get through trying to even get a filling.Smile Spa has state of the art instruments and the ability to put me under a twilight so that when I wake up my teeth are done and the idea of having to come back for everything one appointment at a time has been alleviated.I can’t tell you what a relief it has been to know that my teeth are taken care of.Aside from the fact that Dr. Joal and her husband are extremely knowledgeable and such amazing Dentists, they are kind and gentle and truly concerned .And further, their staff is amazing.From the office to everyone.It is a friendly environment, The office is exceptionally clean and beautiful.I brought my son so that he may continue to use them as his Dentist as well.

My mom and I have been coming to The Smile Spa since they first opened their doors, and we couldn’t be happier with the care we’ve received. Recently, my mom underwent a complete smile transformation that included implants, extractions, and oral surgery. It was one of the best decisions we could have made.Because of my mom’s health conditions, I was understandably nervous about the entire process. However, the doctors and staff were incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive every step of the way. The Smile Spa has been a great experience for me! I had to have my wisdom teeth out that I had been putting off for at least a year, and I came into the office as a new patient. Dr. Joelle gave me a thorough breakdown of my x-rays and made me feel extremely comfortable about the entire process. Dr. Shawn completed the procedure a week later, and it was much simpler and easier than I expected! Made a full recovery in less than a week. Not to mention they are extremely personable and it feels like they genuinely care about you as a patient and as a person! 10/10 would recommend them to any family and friends, easily one of the best dentist experiences I’ve had! I am a new patient at The Smile Spa, and had my first visit with Dr. Joelle yesterday. The office is beautiful, and the staff is kind, patient, and professional. Dr. Joelle is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to truly explain what was going on with my persistent clicking/popping jaw.I’ve had jaw popping for over 10 years, and no one has been able to clearly explain the cause or offer real solutions. Dr. Joelle was able to provide answers and a treatment option during my visit, which was such a relief. I finally feel hopeful and excited moving forward.I am excited to tell all of my friends and family about The Smile Spa!

After moving to Augora Hills my daughter needed to find a closer dentist. At her consultation, they said she needed 4 or 5 root canals and all her wisdom teeth extracted, totaling $21,000 out of pocket. She left in tears and called us in a panic.We decided to send her back to our long standing dentist 2.5 hours away in Mission Viejo, to get a second opinion. He said that was WAY too aggressive and unnecessary. She needed some work for sure, but only a few fillings and such. So glad we got a second opinion. She may need a root canal at some point later on, but something just felt way off with this assessment.I can understand a slight difference in professional opinion between dentists, but this was a HUGE discrepancy between treatment plans and more dentists these days seem to be "root canal happy". It's hard to know who to trust so I'm writing this review as a caution. Always get a second opinion if presented with an aggressive treatment plan.

Love The Smile Spa. The two dentists are great and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We were crushed and happy at the same time when our former dentist retired, yes you saw that right, he was my uncle so we're happy that he's retired, much deserved. Crushed because we know finding a good dentist is hard and we did see another dentist in between and that was a very unpleasant experience. Eventually we were introduced to The Smile Spa and now our whole family here in SoCal is being taken care of by them. My dad even got implants done there and I've never seen him more confident when smiling.We don't exactly live in the area but for the care and expertise, the drive is well worth it for us. Besides, I'm out voted by my little bosses anyways as my daughter thinks Dr. Joelle is awesome and my son thinks their office 3D printer and scanners are amazing gadgets. I LOVE going to the Smile Spa!! Every time I go, I feel so welcome from the moment I walk in the door and through my entire visit! The check-in process was easy and seamless. The first time I was treated there I filled out a form where they asked about my history, which I so appreciated - it's clear they want to make sure to get to know you (and your oral health) well so they can provide great treatment! Their assistant was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Taking X-rays was so easy and quick! Dr. Joelle explained everything she saw and what her recommendations were. When I returned to get my cavities filled, she made sure I was comfortable during the entire treatment! She even followed up with me afterwards to make sure I was feeling okay. I did not feel any pain during the visit at all, and afterwards felt good as new! Dr. Joelle, Dr. Shawn, and the entire staff make it an amazing dental experience every time I'm here! They really treated me like family! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Joelle & Dr. Shawn are the most professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and well-rounded dentist I have ever met. They truly are specialists of their craft! I came in to get my wisdom teeth removed, an exam and cleaning. Dr. Joelle numbed me and it was painless. Dr. Shawn had my wisdom teeth out within two minutes or less. The Smile Spa delivers the most cutting edge dental technology and is so updated on modern dentistry. The office was clean, organized and the staff were extremely welcoming and comforting. I am really picky about my teeth and Dr. Joelle always seems to exceed on perfectionism. Nestor, their dental assistant, was very helpful in reducing my fear of getting my teeth removed. I would honestly recommend all my family and friends to come to The Smile Spa. I’ve been to many offices and I’m so happy and relieved I found them. What a great office and dentist. I called them on a Thursday with a cracked tooth and they got me the next day, as a new patient I was amazed at the level of service and care I was given. Christy at the front desk could not have been nicer and Dr. Shawn Nguyen was the kindest dentist I have ever had!! Thank you so much for the great experience!!I have now been here 3 times and can not say enough about how great the care is here! Dr. Joelle has taken care of me my last two visits and is so kind and accommodating. I feel like family when I walk in.
